The 2016 Annual Meeting of Adirondack District Masters Swimming (AD-LMSC) will be held November 20 at 5:30 pm at the Factory Eatery, 20 Prospect St., Ballston Spa, NY, after the workout. 

 We have reserved a small banquet room at the Factory Eatery, 20 Prospect St., Ballston Spa, NY.

Adirondack LMSC will pay for 2016 & 2017 members’ meals; guests and non-members will be charged $20.

Join fellow Adirondack swimmers on Sunday, November 20, 2016, 3:00 pm at the Saratoga Regional Y, 290 West Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866, for our annual pre-Thanksgiving workout:

50 x Your Choice Distance (25, 50, 75, or 100 yds) on 1:45 interval.  All lanes will leave on intervals together.   Fee for the workout is a $10 donation to Saratoga Regional Y.  

Reminder, the Leatherstocking meet is on October 30th please register and participate.  It is one of the longest running Masters meets in the country, if not the longest. Please come and help us continue the tradition. Register online from this site.

Event Date: September 17-18, 2016

The Lake George Marathon Swim is returning! This swim will serve to highlight Lake George and the history of Lake George marathon swimming. The 32-mile swim commemorates Diane Struble, the first person to swim the length, in 1958, and all those who swim in her wake. Since 1958, only six other solo swimmers and one relay have accomplished this feat. We expect to more than double that historical count in one day!

Registration is closed for the 2016 swim with 14 individual swimmers and 14 relay teams.

The AD LMSC SCY records have been updated based on the results from the Holyoke YMCA, Happy New Year, Syracuse Sweet Heart, NE SCY Championship, and Spring Off The Blocks meets. Congratulations to all.

AD LMSC will be well represented at the up-coming USMS Nationals in Greensboro,NC April 28, 29 and May 1st. Fourteen members are making the journey to North Carolina, they are: Steve Atkins, James Bacon, Joan Griffin, John Hurley, Sarah King, Terry Laughlin, Patrick Quinn, Dan Wall, Laura, Eileen, Brian, David, and Garry Weischedel.  We wish you all good luck and fast swimming.
