Adirondack representation on USMS national committees
I am pleased to report that Sarah King and I (Bob Singer) have both been accepted as members of the USMS National Long Distance Committee. This Committee oversees rules for long distance and open water events. Our outspoken participation at the annual convention this year seems to be rewarded with more work for us. We also will have voices for the selection of sites for events. We look forward to being able to pass along the ideas and concerns of our Adirondack swimmers to the larger national governing body.
